our ecosystem

We are proud to be working with schools, orphanages, individuals and corporates who understand the value of education and what it means for our youth and the future of our country. Our ecosystem is the driving force behind creating opportunities for underprivileged children and developing an empowered network of future leaders. Below is some of the programmes that we have delivered to date:

1. school support PROGRAMME

  • Sanitary Pads

HCF has been donating sanitary pads to Sibongamandla Secondary school since 2018. The project has made a huge difference in the lives of underprivilege teenage girls in the area.

  • Price Giving Awards

Helen Chauke Foundation has been sponsoring price giving awards at Vuwani Secondary School since 2018.  Through this initiative, we honour all the teachers and top 3 leaners on each grade (from grade 8 to Matric).

  • Mentorship of High Achievers

Four girls who are high achievers were identified at Vuwani secondary school.  They are being mentored by Helen Chauke with the hope that they will pass grade 12 with flying colours and be admitted at the best universities in the country.  Helen Chauke is also planning to sponsor these girls when they complete grade 12 with outstanding results.

2. our bursary programME

As a student who wants to see a change, it is important to remember that the change begins with YOU. It is important to develop a teachable attitude as this is what will open you up to your true potential. Your teachers will challenge you and help you identify what makes you stand out, so you can harness that power and elevate yourself.

Currently, the Helen Chauke Foundation is sponsoring students in Monash University for Computer Science, Wits University for Accounting Science, Free State University for BSc Forensics and City Varsity for Advanced Diploma in Film and Television Production Techniques.

We have a one of a kind bursary program, designed not only to assist our students with funding but also with the mentorship required to help them prosper. Our 4-step selection process ensures that we identify the crème of the crop, contributing to a better future for all.

Our Selection Process

1. Partnership with Schools

We build relationships with schools in disadvantaged areas in order to identify their top performers and learn more about their goals and ambitions.

2. One-on-One Interviews

Having identified our star students, we meet with them and their families with the aim of learning more about the student, their background, personality, motivation and ultimately what they would like to achieve.

3. Verified Allocation

We consult with individual members, or companies within our ecosystem to align appropriate funding from relevant sources/ CSI initiatives.

4. Results Analysis

We analyse our students’ matric results in order to kick-start the registration process.

3. npo support programme

  • Refurbishment of School Infrastructure

We have participated in Mandela day initiative whereby we painted the school sanitation block. (Vuwani Secondary School)

  • Orphanage Support

We have donated office furniture which met their greatest need.
